The purpose of the Public Safety Network is to discuss and address downtown public safety concerns with downtown stakeholders, business owners, property owners, and residents.  Staff from the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership and the Winston-Salem Police Department will be in attendance. The agenda of each meeting includes a review of the monthly crime report and discussion & presentations regarding other public safety matters downtown.

2024 Public Safety Network Schedule (Subject to Change) – All meetings will be held at the DWSP office at 515 N. Cherry Street (unless otherwise noted below)

  • June 11th at 10:00 am
  • July 9th at 6:00 pm
  • August 13th at 10:00 am
  • September 10th at 6:00 pm
  • October 8th at 10:00 am
  • November 12th at 6:00 pm
  • December 10th at 10:00 am

FUSUS Network for Downtown Business Owners – Get connected to get access to:

    1. Cameras in the surrounding businesses that are willing to share.
    2. Business Chat feature that owners/managers can communicate (no outside comments or chat since this is a private platform).
    3. Calendar of Events that will be curated by the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership.

To get connected on the platform, all they will need is the business owner/manger’s name, email, and phone number.

You do not need to share a camera to participate in this program.
